Status
Chandan is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at Lankenau Medical Center-Mainline Health and is affiliated with Pennsylvania Cancer and Regenerative Medicine Research Center, Baruch S. Blumberg Institute.
Background
Chandan earned a bachelors degree in Biological Foundations of Behavior: in Neuroscience at Franklin & Marshall College.
He received a post baccalaureate degree in biomedical sciences at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
At Xavier School of Medicine, Chandan was awarded multiple honors recognitions including a merit based scholarship award of excellence, as well as graduating with honors.
While doing his post-graduate medical training, Dr. Upadhyaya also works as a health advisor for Trustmark co. relating to preventative medicine.
Contributions
Chandan is contributing to research based medicine in regards to MDA 231 (breast cancer) along with its metastatic derivates (bone, lung, brain) and its behavior relating to monoclonal antibody inhibitors.
He is also working with human pancreatic adenocarcinoma, CTC clustering, and its interaction to monoclonal antibody inhibitor and HIV therapy.
